HIFU of Westchester
Uterine fibroids (non-cancerous tumors) are quite common in women of child-bearing age. 20-50% of women will suffer from uterine fibroids. Treatment in the past has been pharmaceutical or surgical. However, recently a new FDA approved alternative has become available to women suffering from uterine fibroids.
It is called High Intensity Focused Ultrasound, also known as HIFU. This non-invasive procedure is performed in our state-of-the-art outpatient facility located in central Westchester. The recovery time from this procedure is short and you will be back to your normal routine within days.
